Sydney
Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and is the most populous city in Australia with about 4.25 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area. The city is located on the southeast coast of Australia and it is built around Port Jackson which includes the Sydney Harbor which is the largest natural harbor in the world, North Harbor, Middle Harbor and the Parramatta and Lane Cove Rivers thus it is nicknamed as “The Harbor City”. It is the oldest and largest cosmopolitan city in Australia and it is a modern, metropolis known for its famous landmarks such as the Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, and its beautiful beaches. The metropolitan area of Sydney is surrounded by national parks, rivers, inlets, and bays. It holds an international reputation as one of the most livable and beautiful cities in the world overflowing with history and global influence in art, culture, design, fashion and cuisine.
Sydney has a mild climate, a healthy outdoor lifestyle and a friendly spirit. It is one of the most multicultural cities in the world and it is has hosted cultural, political and international sporting events.
